Healing and Strengthening Marriage
Matthew 19:6 · Proverbs 14:1
When the home is right, everything built on it has a chance. A quarterly three-day fast works well here, with time each night for personal prayer.
Covenant
- Lord, I recommit my marriage to You as a covenant.
- Father, make me the right spouse before I ask You to change my partner.
- Give us wisdom to build our house and not tear it down (Proverbs 14:1).
Against Division
- Every enemy of my marriage, be judged by the Lord, in Jesus' name.
- Every false report spreading through my home, be silenced, in Jesus' name.
- Every power working to tear my marriage apart, I bind you, in Jesus' name.
Restoration
- Let God be God in my marriage. Lord, take Your seat at the center of our home.
- Write Your prescription for our marriage and give us grace to follow it.
- Restore love wherever it has grown cold.
- Teach us to forgive quickly and speak kindly.
- Prosper our home: our finances, our children, our intimacy, and our purpose.
- What You have joined together, no person and no power will separate.
